Our story
Ban Tai, Koh Phangan

From five rooms
to the spa you see today.

In 2022, we found a new building on the main road in Ban Tai. Behind it stood the mountains. We started with five treatment rooms and a small team. Our first guests were our neighbours.

Since then, we’ve added more treatments and a Vietnamese hair spa. Guests come for an hour’s massage, a private bath or a longer package together.

Before your visit

Planning your visit.

Here’s what to know about booking, arriving and paying at the spa.

Ask us a question
Do I need to book ahead?
For evenings and packages, yes: in high season we are often full. The booking page shows which times are free. Walk-ins are welcome when we have space.
When should I arrive?
About 15 minutes before your start time, so there is time to welcome you and check you in. Your room and therapist are reserved from the moment you book; if nobody has arrived or messaged by the start time, we may release them to other guests. Running late? A quick WhatsApp message is enough.
Are the rooms private?
Yes. Every massage happens in its own room, and we have rooms for two. The massage tables are heated and the rooms are air-conditioned.
Can I choose the pressure?
Yes. Before we start, you mark pressure and problem areas on a simple body chart, and you can change your mind during the treatment. Just say softer or stronger; our therapists expect it.
What if something does not feel right?
Tell us in the first 20 minutes: we will change the pressure or style, switch your therapist, or stop at no charge. After that, we understand the treatment is comfortable for you, and it is charged in full.
Do you have male and female therapists?
Yes, both. You can say which you prefer when you book. We do our best; on some days only female therapists work.
Is massage okay during pregnancy?
Up to 5 months, yes, with relax massages only: gentle pressure, no deep work. Please tell us when you book, so we plan the right treatment and therapist.
Can children have a massage?
Yes, from 4 years old, and only relax massages with gentle pressure. Let us know their age when you book.
What products do you use?
Mostly our own: oils and scrubs made for Lavella. Ask your therapist what is in them. If you have allergies or sensitive skin, tell us when you book.
What should I wear or bring?
Nothing special. We provide loose clothing for Thai massage, spa underwear, towels, and a shower for oil treatments and packages.
Can we use the sauna together?
Yes, up to 4 guests. The sauna is private for your booking and needs about 30 minutes to heat, which is why we confirm sauna bookings by message.
Where is the bath?
The bath is outdoors, with a view over Ban Tai, and made for two. Packages with a bath include the time in it.
How do I pay?
At the spa after your treatment: cash or Thai QR, or by credit card (+3% fee). Prices are on the menu.
Do I pay a deposit?
Only for some online bookings: spa packages (฿500), hot stone (฿200), facials and hair spa (฿100) and ฿100 per guest for groups of 3 or more. The deposit reserves your time. Cancel at least 2 hours before your visit for a full deposit refund. If you reschedule, your deposit stays with your booking. The rest you pay at the spa.
Can I leave a tip?
Yes. Tipping is not required, but it is much appreciated by our therapists. You can hand it to your therapist, or leave it at reception. We note which treatment it was for, and that therapist receives it at the end of the day.
Do you speak English?
At reception, yes. Many of our therapists speak only a little English. Tell reception what you would like, such as the pressure or a sore spot, and they pass it on to your therapist in Thai.
Are you open every day?
Yes, 10:00 to 22:00. On a few Thai holidays, like Songkran, we close; we announce it on Google and Instagram ahead of time.
Where exactly are you, and is there parking?
On the main road in Ban Tai. Scooters and cars park on the street along the spa. The map on our contact page shows the entrance.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes. Buy one on the vouchers page: pick an amount, pay by card, and it arrives by email. Valid 12 months, for any treatment or package. Use it in one visit or several.
